G'Day from Australia!

What a GREAT country! The beauty is something one must experience for themselves. I've never been out of the US myself so everyday is a new endeavour. New people and new culture is simply life changing. The beginning of the trip was hustle bustle as we left on Dec. 27th from Columbus, Ohio and then we sailed throug the air to Dallas TX... Everything is BIG in Texas as they say... The view from the air was KILLER! We then boarded another flight to LA California. When LA came into view, the entire view from the plane was nothing but lights and buildings. As far as the eye could see...... We then jumped on a 747 headed for our destination, Sydney Australia! The flight was 14 long hours over the Pacific Ocean. Qantas irlines has to be the best flight service on the entire planet! We had great meals and every seat had an LCD screen in the headrest so we could play video games, watch our choice of 10+ movies and they also had several Rock Concerts that one could view! The sunrise from 40,000 feet was breath taking! When Sydney finally came into view all we could say was WOW!  What a buzzing metropolis it was..... We were greeted by Tony Clarke (Tour Director) and off to the hotel we went to meet up with Chris Rowlands, our #1 fan and the man making all this possible. Did I mention all 21 pieces of gear and luggage made it? *L* Our first show was @ The Hard Rock Cafe in Surfer's Paradise. The memorabilia was outstanding and the show kicked off the New Year right! CB had arrived!

We met lots of new fans and friends. The beaches here are beautiful! High waves and the sand is so clean compared to the states. We played Coolangada Sands on 2 different occasions and the crowd went from a full house to a PACKED HOUSE! People are really getting into us. The feeling of being accepted and appreciated in a new country is so fulfilling. We felt like STARS!! We also played Hervey Bay and it was a BLAST! We are just 1/3 of the way through the tour and the crowds are getting Bigger and Bigger! Our commercials are getting airplay on Prime Time TV and the biggest radio stations in the country. Everyone is so supportive....... We're looking forward to the rest of the tour as the rooms are getting bigger and the crowds are getting bigger! A hats off to the bands we've jammed with and become friends with! FINN for being fellow muso's and breaking us into the tour. We shared some interesting chats on music and cultural lifestyles. Great people & great muso's! Cheers mates! The other band, PLAYHOUSE is a 3 piece fronted by a gal and their musical blend worked real well with CB! Also had great conversations with them and introduced them to one of Bub and myselfs favorite bands MOTHER LOVE BONE! Good Times! Cheers!

We would like to thank the tour staff for their relentless dedication to our needs! Chris Rowlands and his family, John Allotta, Tony Clarke, Kathy Andrews and 'lil John, Grahame Pickering our big MUSCLE GUY and fellow classic car fanatiic and Nick Leden our Touring Agent! These people have went beyond the call of duty to make our stay in Australia smooth and pleasant! Thank You ALL so very

much! We'll keep you in our hearts and memories FOREVER! We must thank our roadie Darrell for his endless dedication to our needs. He sets it all up and tears it all down.
